Description
A wide expanse of sandy beach, described by the photographer as "Tulare Beach on Terminal Island, closed to swimming due to pollution." The beach is in the foreground, with a small portion of the shore visible at upper right. Along the horizon in the background, a rocky pier is visible, and beyond it, the Pike's roller coaster and city skyline can be seen. At far left, an assortment of buildings are just off the beach. Two small fishing boats sit on the sand, near upper middle section of the photograph. Two or three people are also nearby the boats. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG.
