Photograph article dated October 26, 1964 partially reads, "Carl Rowan, director of the United States Information Agency, will address the World Affairs Council at noon Thursday at the Statler Hilton in the council's commemoration of United Nations Week. Rowan, 39, will discuss current developments in the world situation. Invited by the council before last week's momentous events in Russia and China, Rowan is expected to bring Washington viewpoints on these events to his audience."
