Description
Carl Lindbom holds a portrait done by Polish artist, Alexander Rosenfeld, of Rosanna Roosevelt Beecker whom Lindbom later married. Photo caption reads: "The story of Pygmalion and Galatea, in which an artist falls in love with a statue, is paralleled by the real life romance of Carl C. Lindbom, Los Angeles artist, and Rosanna Roosevelt Bleecker, who will be married tonight. Eighteen months ago, Lindbom saw Miss Beecker's portrait in a studio and said, "she is my ideal. I'm going to marry her." Later they met and he won her hand. Lindbom is shown with the portrait to which he lost his heart." Photo dated: Feb. 2, 1932.
