Description of Locomotive 3460: Length of engine and tender, 102 feet; Weight of engine and tender, 816,740 lbs.; Tractive effort, 49,300 lbs.; Steam pressure, 300 lbs.; Cylinders bore, 23 1/2", Strokes, 29 1/4"; Driving wheels diameter, 84"; Fire box length 132", width 108"; Capacity of tender oil, 7107 gals.; Water 21,300 gals.; Total wheel base, 88'-8"; Maximum speed, 107 m.p.h.; and equipped with roller bearings.
