Marymount College, all female, was founded in 1933 in Los Angeles and later merged with St. Joseph College of Orange, and then with Loyola University to eventually form co-ed Loyola Marymount University in 1973. Marymount College was located at 10643 Sunset Boulevard in Westwood. Marymount High School is at that location today. Photograph caption dated March 7, 1958 reads "Stella Marquez, left, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arturo E. Marquez of Toluca Lake was one of the student hostesses who welcomed screen personality Irene Dunne, right, to the Marymount College campus. Miss Dunne spoke to the students on 'The Meaning of the United Nations.'"
