Description
Sue Laris, editor and publisher of the Los Angeles Downtown News, poses with her cocker spaniel, at the 2nd Grand Avenue Festival. The festival, taking up four city blocks, between 1st and 4th along Grand, was expected to draw 20,000 people to Downtown L.A. The festival was spawned from a 2003 event timed to the opening of Walt Disney Concert Hall. A small corner of Disney Hall, as well as Dorothy Chandler pavilion, can be seen in the background.
