"Riesiges Heidekraut. Schaberg sen. und jun." ("Huge heather. Schaberg sen[ior] and jun[ior]."). The heather is at the bottom of a steep hill, next to a road. Schaberg junior on the right is Willibald Paul Schaberg. Schaberg senior is on the left. The little girl is Willibald Paul Schaberg's daughter. His wife is not in the picture. The woman holding the child's hand is probably his mother. Schaberg senior is carrying binoculars around his neck. This picture was taken by Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?). He worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died.
