Photograph article dated January 22, 1964 partially reads, "The aerospace industry 'is confident of the reliability of missiles it is producing for the United States government,' the president of the Aerospace Industries Association said Tuesday in Los Angeles. Karl G. Harr Jr. declined to become involved in the controversy between Sen. Barry Goldwater and Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara over the effectiveness of this country's missile defense system. But he voiced a flat 'no' when asked if the aerospace industry is producing missiles that, as Goldwater claimes, 'Won't fly.'"
