"Våbenøvelse blandt Taisaka" ("Weapon training for the Taisaka men"). Printed on the picture: Taisaka Spearsmen. NO.5. The warriors have spears and shields as their weapons. The picture is probably not taken far from Tananarive. This is weapon training ca.1895. The Taisaka come from the South-East coast of the island.
