Typed letter from J. C. Harper to James A. Blaisdell. Harper discusses restructuring the colleges in Claremont; new charters for academic institutions, in particular the proposed Woman's College; title to real estate which Ellen Browning Scripps is purchasing; development of Twenty Acres Subdivision; courses to be offered to group of fifty freshmen and their costs; funds for purchasing additional real estate; and Harper encourages Blaisdell to take his planned trip abroad.
