Description
Nuclear reactor for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS). "The world's biggest floating crane is rented from the U.S. Navy to lift the 350 ton Westinghouse nuclear reactor vessel from the hold of the ship which transported it to Long Beach Harbor." Description taken from accompanying timeline. This film is part of a 7 minute documentary of the dedication ceremony for SONGS.
