Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated February 1, 1962 partially reads, "If you were invited to dine at the North Hollywood home of Jerry and Virginia Papazian, your menu would include such exotic dishes as Lahmajoon, Sarma, Kufts, Kibbe, Fetires and Boreg. These entrees are as popular in an Armenian household as steak and French fries in an American, but for most of us they are a delightfully different culinary experience." Photograph caption reads, "Virginia Papazian chooses imported cheeses and Greek wine to serve with Armenian dinner. Her husband, Jerry, displays the parchment-thin dough, Filo, used in many Armenian desserts and main dishes."; See image #00130692 for additional photo in this series.
