Plants decorate the shaded, arched entrance of the building at center which leads to the raised front porch on the left. A large tree in the grass yard on the left obstructs the view of the higher floors. The Casa Loma Hotel was located at the north-east corner of Orange Street and Colton Avenue. Original title read, "Residence in Redlands, showing a row of palm trees on the right, ca.1900".
