Description
Steel Bank of Italy strong box made of metal and has a slot on the top for coins and bills. It held money that was to be saved until it was taken to the bank, where they had a key to open the bottom and put the money in an account. It has a carrying handle on top and bears the Bank of Italy seal on the front, featuring an image of the U.S.S. Portsmouth, 1846.
