1 image. Unusual fish, 31 July 1952. Ed Urban, 1827 East Ocean Avenue. Pictured with 8 1/2 pound 40 inch dolphin.
Supplementary material reads: "City Desk or Sports. Daily. Gershon. Unusual catch. No 5 -- Reportedly first Dolphin caught in Southern California waters during past 8 years. Ed Urban, 1837 East Ocean Avenue, Long Beach, is shown with 8 1/2 pound, 40-inch Dolphin he landed yesterday while fishing from Joe Martin's charter boat, 'Jackpot'. Urban caught Dolphin on a green and yellow nylon jig in Catalina Channel while fishing for albacore".
