Photograph caption dated February 6, 1960 reads, "The Chinese dragon thrilled a crowd of more than 15,000 spectators in New Chinatown last night as the Chinese community staged a mammoth pageant celebrating the Year of the Mouse. The celebration featured a gala stage show, a children's lantern parade and a drum and bugle corps."
