Description: View of a barbeque held in a large open space in San Pedro in April 1899. The celebration, commemorating the arrival of rocks for the building of the breakwater, shows people sitting on either side of an open area, with numerous American flags flying, including one large flag on a flagpole. Various horses and carriages are seen.
