Description
A patient relaxes in the swirling water of this big Hubbard tank, part of new equipment in Cedars of Lebanon Hospital's remodeled physical therapy department. Here limbs crippled with polio or stiff with war-wounds will be coaxed back to life. The only one of its kind in a Southern California civilian hospital, the tank was displayed November 26, 1945, for the first time at a formal opening of the new facilities.
