Description
Republican mural, Divis Street, Falls, West Belfast, 2001. Plastic bullets were involved in a series of controversial killings by police officers and British soldiers in nationalist areas. 'Ban Plastic Bullets. A new, more lethal plastic bullet will be issued to the RUC on June 1st. It will be twice as deadly at its minimum range of 30 metres. Almost all plastic bullet fatalities have occurred at a distance of less than 30 metres'.
