Connie and Jacqueline begin the interview discussing the title of the book and its importance. They proceed to talk about Jacqueline’s upbringing and how she came to her liking for art and sculpture, the low expectations one of her parents had for her, and how she used that knowledge to motivate her journey through life. Connie and Jacqueline then consider Jacqueline’s relationship to her father and the different expectations for girls and boys, and her two marriages, before moving on to discuss her relationship to her second husband. They then discuss her children’s interests, and the significance of Judaism in her and her family’s lives. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
