Signed by artist in pencil. Written in pen on verso: "Sketch made of a mural for Jerry and Paul Covert - Billings insurance men. JKR-".
Shows single covered wagon, drawn by oxen. Two riders on horseback follow behind.
Born in Choteau. In 1923, lived on the Pacific coast where worked as commercial artist. Returned to Montana in 1930. In 1935 moved to Billings where opened a studio.
Mr. Dean Maudsley.
