The article partially reads "The first registered claybird shoot of the year, the Los Angeles Invitational Skeet championships, started last weekend at Pacoima's Golden Valley Gun club with 199 shooters competing for the champ's crown. Using the 20 gauge guns, S/Sgt. Gaynor Thinglum of Norton Air Force Base fired top mark with a 97 score."
