Kay Atwood; Born in 1892, youngest daughter of Cromwell and Kate (Kate Tupper) Galpin. Attended Los Angeles High School, interested in theater, she studied in Europe, toured England and Scotland with the Benson Theatrical Company. Upon return to California formed the Ellen Galpin Players, performing locally. In the 1920's she created puppet shows for the Los Angeles playground department. (Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society, Summer 2012).
