Description
Black and white photograph showing a group of medical mission workers standing next to a car. The mission workers were based at the hospital at Ama Achara, run by the Methodist Missionary Society. The group is made up of: Dr Cole, a Nigerian doctor, and his wife
Mrs Savage, wife of Dr Savage, the first specialist at Ama Achara hospital, with her son
and Emily Godfrey, the Matron of the Ama Achara hospital. The group stands in front of a motor car. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey.
