Photograph of an exterior view of the insane asylum in Salem, Oregon, [s.d.]. The three-story brick building can be seen at center. Two large towers can be sticking up from the roof, in addition to many smaller chimneys. Rectangular windows look out from the building onto the grassy assylum grounds. Several tall tress and large bushes can be seen around the building. Another large building can be seen in the background at right.
