Photograph caption dated June 4, 1963 reads, "Masked man clubbed Mrs. Arline Herpolshemier, Chatsworth, to death." Arline Herpolshemier, a 33-year-old mother of a 7-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter (Arthur Jr. and Deborah) was attacked and beaten to death by a masked man at her home in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, California.
