Description
Original photograph has several stains.
Thomas Rocco Barbella, better known as Rocky Graziano, was born on January 1, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a professional boxer who held the World Middleweight title. Graziano is considered one of the greatest knockout artists in boxing history. He died on May 22, 1990. Lawrence “Cyclone” Gene Fullmer was born on July 21, 1931 in West Jordan, Utah. He was a professional boxer and World Middleweight champion. He died on April 27, 2015.
Photograph caption dated November 30, 1960 reads "Rocky Graziano, right, shows middleweight champion Gene Fullmer how to hold his fists during workout this week at Olympic Auditorium. Fullmer tapered off training yesterday for his title fight Saturday night against Sugar Ray Robinson in the Sports Arena. Graziano is former middleweight champion and fought Robinson in 1952."
