The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Looking northeast from across Avenue of the Stars in Century City, showing a 28-story office building, the two Century Plaza Towers (center), and two other structures on the far right (later demolished). Located at 1900 Avenue of the Stars, the office tower on the left was designed by AC Martin Partners and built in 1969. The two Century Plaza Towers, located at 2029 and 2049 Century Park East, were designed by Minoru Yamasaki and dedicated in October 1975.
