Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on July 20, 1959 states: "The Amador County Museum in Jackson is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the building it occupies. Mrs. Barbara Wurm, assistant director of the Amador County Chamber of Commerce, which also is housed in the building, said the two story house was constructed in 1859 by A. C. Brown, inset. The one story addition was built about 1900."
