Description
As the last lingering rays of the setting sun silhouette the buildings of Downtown Los Angeles, the message “Municipal Water and Power” flashes from the sign of the Department of Water and Power’s main office building, symbolizing the night and day service of the Department. To the original building shown her at 207 South Broadway have been added two structures facing on Second Street and on Hill Street, making in all 28 floors dedicated to the service of Los Angeles residents.
