Description
Photograph of booths at a Chamber of Commerce exhibit, where you can have your profile carved in soap for 50 cents, ca.1930. A man wearing a darkly colored robe sits on a chair to the right while holding what appears to be a piece of soap in his left hand. The man has a mustache and slicked back hair as he uses a metal tool to carve into the soap with his right hand. A darkly colored cabinet with figurines placed on it sits on the tiled floor to the left of the man. In the center, a woman stands behind a counter with a glass case while a second woman sits in front holding some sort of tool and round object in her hands. A mural is painted on the wall behind the women while two more women can be seen standing to the left. A sign above reads "2 Feature Hits Now Playing".
