"Clothes being given out in Bombay, received from Shaw St. congregation in Pasadena, Texas U. S. A." Don Carter distributes clothes to people living in Mumbai, India. Carter was the first American missionary from Churches of Christ to work in Mumbai. He worked alongside Joshua Gootam, an Indian evangelist. They primarily worked with people who spoke Telugu rather than with those who spoke Hindi, one of the dominant languages in the region.
