Description
Photograph of a man looking down at the hills behind East Whittier from a tall peak, ca.1914. Many rolling hills dot the landscape in the distance, creating several narrow valleys. The man is on a tall hill in the foreground at right and is looking into a valley at center. A hill in the distance at center is marked by several lines, perhaps the result of agricultural activities. The hill in the foreground on which the man is standing is covered with low brush.
