Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photographer's caption reads, "Los Angeles is awash with Mayan peoples. By some estimates, the basin has as many as two million people from areas construed as Mayan - Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. The 10th annual EcoMaya Festival was a double celebration: Earth Day and Mayan heritage. On the lawn laid out by Frank Lloyd Wright for Aline Barnsdall, a Mayan band waited for their moment on the main stage."
