Assignment: Houses in Venice turn black and orange. 130-131d: Mrs. Margaret Everson stands bewildered in front of home at 2718 Strongs Drive, Venice, that turned from white to a dingy gray overnight. 110d: Mrs. Pearl Ward stands by gate that yesterday was pure white. She lives at 2704 Pacific Avenue, Venice. 100-101d: Senior Inspector David Rodgers of the Air Pollution Control District takes sample of water from Grand Canal to determine exact cause of peculiar phenomena".
