Image of a wall of plaques with autographs of motion picture stars at the Moulin Rouge nightclub in Hollywood, California, formerly the Earl Carroll Theatre. This view is before the sign was changed from "Earl Carroll Theatre" visible at right.
"Signatures of the stars at Moulin Rouge, Hollywood."--text, on negative. Title transcribed from negative; date supplied by cataloger based on the history of the Earl Carroll Theatre which closed in 1948 and was re-opened as the Moulin Rouge in 1953. Earlier images of the Earl Carroll Theatre don't have the signature wall.
