Description
The picked group of National Guardsmen from the 160th infantry, who were babies or unborn at the time of the World War, are shown drilling before the veterans at the affair in the Hotel Hayward. This group of young guardsmen, who are under the command of Col. Wayne R. Allen, soon will be commissioned as lieutenants. The affair presented a graphic picture of two generations of American soldiers. Photo dated: January 15, 1938.
