Description
Republican mural, Whiterock Road, Ballymurphy, West Belfast, 2001. Depicts the attack on the GPO (General Post Office) in Dublin on Easter Monday, April 24, 1916; the Easter Rising. Celtic surround, above, Easter lilies on Starry Plough flag and Tricolour. Pearse, Connolly and Countess Markievicz lead the assault, under the Irish Tricolour; 'Freedom fighters outside the GPO. Easter Rising 1916'.
