Transcription: No. 208, normal calf 29 days old. No. 213, 30 days old. This calf's mother had been fed all the acorns she could eat for the four months previous to the birth of the calf. At birth the calf was about half of normal size (weighed 31 lbs.) and it's back was slightly twisted sideways.
