Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated February 11, 1950 reads "This is the home of Maj. Gen. Walter P. Story, 3405 Laurel Canyon Blvd., where Perry L. Davis, 37, was shot and seriously wounded by Gen. Story after dispute over use of telephone. Davis is in critical condition at Birmingham Veterans Hospital from wound in abdomen."
