Description
Jolly Bachelor, greets visitors at the Old Adobe exhibit on Treasure Island at the Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE) in 1939-1940. At Niles, an Easter Egg Hunt with two Kawaguchi children and the Roeding children. In the Adobe gardens at the Niles nursery, there are strolling singers and hostesses. Then back to the Old Adobe at the GGIE. Frederick Reimers, well-known bay area architect in the day designed the Old Adobe on Treasure Island. He also renovated the old adobe building at the nursery into the modern guest lodge that it is today. In the background is the Los Angeles San Diego Counties building. Box says "Expo and Easter Egg Hunt"
