Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated September 14, 1962 reads, "Mircea Ionnitiu sits with wife, Rodica, and daughter, Lygia, 13." The article partially reads, "A man who knows the difficulties faced by a confident [sic] to a monarch under a dictatorship is Mircea Ionnitiu, 17950 Schoenborn St., Northridge. He was press secretary to King Michael of Rumania during the crucial 1940-48 period when the tiny country perched precariously between the hob-nailed boots of Nazi Germany and Communist dictatorship...After living in New York for eight years, he moved to the Valley five years ago with his wife Rodica, and a daughter, Lygia, now 13."
