Description
Photograph of people shoveling snow out of a campsite and preparing a campfire at Big Pines Camp, ca.1930. To the left of the center, a man can be seen holding a shovel along a large mass of snow visible in the foreground. Behind the man, a woman can be seen wearing a thick and long coat over a dress (skirt?) who seems to be setting up a picnic table for lunch. To the man's left, a second man is visible bending down and holding a pan over a large grill made of stone. A third man is visible standing in the far left who appears to be holding a cigarette. Snow capped trees standing on a snow-covered floor are visible in the background.
