Description: "Annelies Schärf mit Bohas, einem Isoko-Mädchen." ("Annelies Schärf and Bohas, an Isoko girl ."). Annelies Schärf, about 2 years old, and an African girl are stroking a cat. Annelies is sitting on a step. The other girl is standing behind her.
One copy is ripped. -- Annelies Schärf was born in 1936. -- Elise Schärf (1892-?) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. She was a deaconess and received training not only as a nurse but also in the care of mothers and lepers. She served from 1928 for many years at the leprosy hospital in Isoko.
