Shown in 1988 is the nearly finished Renaissance Tower project, as seen from the construction area of the expanding Central Branch of the Sacramento City Library, located at 828 I Street. At nearly 350,000-square-feet and 28-stories, the tower became the tallest building in Sacramento for a price tag of 54 million dollars.
