Photograph of the painting "Youth" by Veith, depicting the profile of a young girl, [s.d.]. The girl is shown from the shoulders up, her hair bound away from her shoulders and neck by a florally-decorated cap or kerchief. Her hair is dark and curly and can be seen peeking out from under the kerchief. Just a hint of her dress is visible below her shoulders. The background is rendered with little shading, and suggests flowers, echoing the business of the kerchief's design.
