Description
This early aerial view shows the future Belmont Shore, Naples, Alamitos Bay, and Alamitos Peninsula. Second street is shown at lower left, and runs diagonally through the image towards Naples Island and beyond. Running horizontally through the upper part of the image, the San Gabriel River and its mouth are shown. Most of the visible land is undeveloped, with few buildings in sight. DATE NOTES: Circa 1921. ORIG. IMAGE: 8" x 10" B&W glossy print. NEGATIVE: Yes.
