"Mrs Sharman receiving subscriptions". Mrs Sara Ann Sharman seated at a table outdoors with church officials and members.
Mrs Sharman worked to educate the wives of LMS students, and published a book on Madagascar, The Marytr's Isle, in 1919. She lived and worked in Madagascar with her husband, James Sharman, from 1892 to 1934. One of around 360 prints from various sources mounted and indexed in folders. Probably used for reference and publication by London Missionary Society headquarters.
