Description
A carte de visite of three Latina women, unattributed, circa 1870s. The thre are shown in a basic studio setting with one chair and a rug with two standing and one seated in the middle. The ladies standing at the left and seated wear darker-colored clothing and the one at right has very light-colored clothing. The ladies standing have one hand on the back of the chair on which the third is sitting. Ink "X" marks on the lower and right margin might match a pencil inscription on the reverse that is quite faded, but appears to read, "Mrs. Oumluna." On the reverse is a label from a Chicago reproducing company from the 1890s. With some soiling and rubbing, the condition is good overall.
