Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Snow. Date: 1952-03-03. Reporter: Clausen. Assignment: Caltech plant laboratory. Sunday F, March 16. 75-76: Corn plants grown in different temperatures. Big ones had 80 degrees at day, 68 degrees at night. Small ones 68 degrees at day, 57 degrees at night. 49-50: Doctor Katerina Zarudnaya, research fellow, with hormone spray plants. At left, plant didn't get hormone. 26: G. P.
